THUNDER BAY – A 36-year-old woman has been charged after police responded to a single-vehicle collision involving a stolen vehicle.
According to a police release, officers were advised of a vehicle in the ditch early Saturday morning on Mabella Road.
Officers attended the scene and upon further investigation discovered that the vehicle was stolen from Fort Frances.
A 36-year-old woman from Fort Frances was arrested and charged with possession obtained by crime over $5,000 and personation with intent to avoid arrest, prosecution or obstruct justice.
She is scheduled to appear in court on Oct. 30.
