THUNDER BAY — The number of active COVID-19 cases in the Thunder Bay district continues to hover in the low single digits.

The Thunder Bay District Health Unit on Tuesday reported two new cases, but one previously diagnosed case was resolved.

That leaves the active case count at four.

One of the new cases involves travel outside Northwestern Ontario.

Both patients are residents of the City of Thunder Bay or nearby townships.

No district residents are currently receiving treatment in hospital for COVID-19.
