Fuel price hike hits some area gas bars

Gas prices in Thunder Bay have jumped again, two weeks after the last hike. At least one local gas station raised their prices by seven cents a litre overnight, leading to pump prices of almost $1.

A City of Thunder Bay garbage truck was completely destroyed by fire last night. The truck was parked inside a large maintenance building on Mountdale Avenue at the time. The fire broke out around 7 p.m.
