Chill worthy of a better ending

After the brilliant season they had, I kind of think the Thunder Bay Chill deserved a better fate. They won their semi-final game against Victoria, but ended up on the short side of a 3-1 score to Austin Texas in the Premier Development League final.

It's now just past the halfway point of the long Major League Baseball season, and also the much shorter Northwoods League season for the Border Cats. The Cats have struggled, logging a 13-22 first half ledger.

Exciting NHL post-season comes to an end

It’s the most wonderful time of the year

For a sports fan, this is one of the best times of the year. Spring is here, and it means the start of another baseball season. The long 162-game Major League begins and each team gets a fresh start.
