There appears to be a serious flaw in the Northern Travel Grant program, one that needs quick correcting.

To the editor: On March 31, between 8:30 p.m. and 9:30 p.m. -- for those that missed it and apparently most Canadians who were happily living their good lives did -- was 'Earth Hour'.

To the editor: In response to the letter, “Downtowns are Dead” in the Friday, April 6 edition of Thunder Bay Source : Mr. Caldwell refers to the downtowns as corpse(s) and dead zones to which I could not disagree more.

Now that bikes are using more of city streets, using bike lanes,etc, and the bikes are to obey rules same as vehicles, then why not have license plates and insurance like every other vehicle that use the roads.

As the City prepares to transfer Marina Park property to a private developer this week, a recap of the process is in order.
