To the editor: The Ontario PC and NDP Caucuses recently passed a motion in the Legislature calling for a special Select Committee to investigate the scandal-plagued agency ORNGE.

To the editor, What a milestone. I love the fact that the mayor of Thunder Bay acknowledges the plight of Aboriginal people living both on and off the reserves . A new beginning of understanding is the key phrase.

I still remember my first deep sea diving experience. I was younger then and more daring but I can easily recall the thrill of the descent, the eerie landscape on the ocean floor and the exhilaration of surfacing after being miles down in the abyss.

On average in 2012, every nine days a Mac’s Convenience Store has been hit by an armed robber. Over the course of a year, that works out to exactly 40 incidents.

To the editor: Over the past weeks and months there has been a plethora of letters in the local media first about the proposed multiplex and now renamed civic events centre taking the appearance of a civilty war in the social media venue.

To the editor: I cannot believe how many people in this city are opposed to building the multiplex at the Water Street bus terminal site. So many people complain about parking when there really is a lot of parking around.

To the editor: I wrote to "My Macs" again today. More people should do the same. Years ago, as an employee of Mac's Mart, I expected to be robbed (or worse) every night I worked for this company.

To the editor: Event centre parking seems to be the only problem when it comes to the north core site.

To the editor: I'm writing in response to the article,"Bold Prediction" regarding the Ring of Fire mining boom.

In recent months and years a great deal of attention has been paid to the impacts of bullying in our schools. A lot of this attention has been focused on high profile suicides that have been caused by bullying.
