Local efforts raise big dollars for Haiti
In one day, Thunder Bay residents donated more than $20,000 to the Red Cross – the largest single-day amount collected by that organization’s local branch. The donations came in Tuesday in wake of the recent disaster in Haiti.

Coin-op laundry thefts continue
