They were an hour late getting out of the gate, but the Lakehead Thunderwolves didn’t skip a beat on Saturday night. The visiting Laurentian Voyageurs paid the price.

The only question the Lakehead Thunderwolves needed answered Saturday night was whether or not they could stretch their lead to 40 points and keep it there.

The York Lions scored 22 points in the first half Friday night. They piled on 19 in the third quarter alone and still lost ground to the host Lakehead Thunderwolves. This is an OUA men’s basketball game that was never in doubt.
