Letters to the Editor

LETTER: Chippewa Park empty

To the editor: Summer sunshine. Three summer focuses for me this year, after that long winter, are camping locally, voting for our Ontario Conservatives, and talking across the fences with our neighbours after being house bound so long.

EDITORIAL: Hudak snubs the north

Conservative Leader Tim Hudak likely had no intention of ever showing up at Monday’s northern leader’s debate in Thunder?Bay.

LETTER: Let all candidates into debate

To the editor: As a candidate in the upcoming election for one of the four parties which is running candidates in all 107 ridings I find it quite insulting that the local Thunder Bay Chamber of Commerce has told me that to be at the debate I must pay

LETTER: Legacy projects cost taxpayers too much money

To the editor: Now that the majority of jobs have left Thunder Bay,spending the rest of the tax-paying people's money does not go well judging by the opinion poll, suggesting most people don't think an event centre will be built by 2017.

LETTER: Keep rural water delivery

To the editor: Unbelievable. The city has decided to discontinue rural water delivery for residents in city limits. There are years that our well has dried up and we consider this an essential service.
