The Beaver Gas Bar on Shuniah Street was robbed early Sunday morning. Thieves, who fled in a dark-coloured pick-up truck, forced their way through the front door of the store and made off with an undisclosed quantity of cigarettes.

A man fled with drugs after allegedly robbing a Shoppers Drug Mart on the city’s North side. A lone male armed with a knife entered the Shoppers on River Street around 6:35 p.m. Friday night demanding narcotics.
