Cue another late-inning, bullpen-related collapse for the Thunder Bay Border Cats.

Thunder Bay’s Tom Pyatt has a new home. An unrestricted free agent, the 24-year-old Pyatt has left the Montreal Canadiens and inked a one-year deal with the Tampa Bay Lightning. Terms of the contract were not immediately disclosed.

When they hit, the Thunder Bay Border Cats couldn’t pitch. When they pitched well, the bats fell silent.
