To the editor: Please consider my experience as representative of many other patients. I’m struggling while typing this message with one hand, especially after having two good hands and 10 fingers over the past 66 years.

On Oct. 29 the James Street Swing Bridge caught fire. Almost instantly police and fire officials labeled it a crime scene. Even quicker, however, the racist tweets and Facebook posts began to spring up online.

The tamarack trees on Mohawk Crescent are coming down. It only took two sessions of council and hours of debate to make the decision. Unfortunately, it was the wrong one.

Food is fine To the editor:? I read the Oct. 24 issue of Thunder Bay Source and felt I had to comment on the letter to the editor “South side a mess” by Erika Fitzgerald.

To the editor: When drivers are caught with open liquor or small amounts of drugs in their cars, these are confiscated and the driver charged. The same should apply to cell phone users and texters.

To the editor: I was wondering what the heck council was doing going ahead with the plan to cut down the 11 tamarack trees in question, then a light came on. I know exactly the reason for their strange behaviour.

To the editor: Oh, Thunder Bay city council, I’m normally filled with pride when I think of my isolated hometown of Thunder Bay, but the decision made by city council to remove those trees on Mohawk Crescent fills me with shame.

Fall is probably one of my favourite seasons. It is the perfect time of year to change my Facebook status to “Winter is Coming”. It is also a time to dress up and unleash the alter ego.

To the editor: Yep, downtown Thunder Bay (especially near Victoriaville) is a sinkhole. Drunks, hookers, junkies and perverts of all kinds hang around there because of the Shelter House and cheap apartments.
