To the editor: I understand the young man who had strung up the fishing wire across Boulevard’s foot paths has been arrested. Now I understand every one’s curiosity as to why some of us want his name released.

To the editor: Just what the city of Thunder Bay needs: more traffic lights.

To the editor: In relation to somebody stringing fishing line (pending line strength) on a bike path, the charge should be something more than mischief.

Kudos to the city for reaching out to our neighbours to the north. Last week it became increasingly apparent that rising waters on the Albany River would soon overflow the banks and flood Kashechewan First Nation.

Those who grew up in Fort William or Port Arthur can recall a time when many of their childhood activities were produce-related. Sometimes it was fun and other times it was tedious work.

To the editor: There has been significant media coverage over the last several months regarding the Thunder Bay Generating Station.

When is the stupidity going to end? Last weekend it was out in full force, when police announced someone had strung fishing line across bike and walk paths at Boulevard Lake. This is a heavily used area, one of the busiest in the city.

To the editor, I am writing today to thank all the people (golfer and non-golfers) that supported me in my quest to keep Municipal Golf Course open.

It is the location that we don't support when it comes to Horizon Wind Inc.’ s proposed turbine farm on the Nor’Wester escarpment, not the technology. Green Energy is good in the right location.

When most people around here think about climate change they don’t predict a snowstorm for the middle of April. It’s called global warming, not global frosting.
